Join Quintonia Thorpe as she walks you through the essential components of a project budget from identifying expenses and estimating costs to accounting for artist fees, materials, overhead, and other project-related expenses. Participants will also learn how to align their budget with their project narrative, avoid common budgeting mistakes, and present their budget numbers in a way that helps funders understand the true value of the work.
Whether you’re preparing your first grant application or looking to strengthen your existing budgeting skills, you’ll leave with a framework you can use for future projects and funding opportunities. Participants will leave with a handout and budget spreadsheet template to use for future projects.
