ARTSWELL

ArtSwell, our regional professional development program, serves artists and arts administrators in all arts disciplines and stages of career development. ArtSwell includes workshops and training for artists, art businesses and nonprofits in topics such as entrepreneurship, marketing, business development, accounting, legal issues, as well as networking and other peer support events help our region’s art sector to thrive.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SUPPORT

Triangle Leadership Collective - Although they work hard to support their staff and communities, Executive Directors of Triangle arts organizations have limited personal support for the work they do. Our Executive Directors Support Group provides the peer support that EDs need to stay abreast of best practices, new resources in the field and to get that vital peer understanding of the ups and downs of the work they do.  

TEAL

Triangle Emerging Arts Leaders (TEAL) is a group of emerging arts administrators aiming to build the next generation of arts leaders. Through targeted learning, social gatherings and other events, TEAL supports art administrators as they navigate this exciting and evolving field with opportunities to learn and network with peers in the Triangle arts community.

FISCAL SPONSORSHIP

The Triangle is filled with a diverse collection of incredible artists, arts projects and arts organizations. However, many of our most talented artists and organizations are ineligible to receive grants and tax-deductible contributions because they lack 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax status. Becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit comes with a huge administrative burden, including bookkeeping, accounting, board development and management and more, which can be difficult for a short project, or even for a small, new arts organization. Our Fiscal Sponsorship program provides these new organizations and projects with access to tax-deductible funding, as well as peer support and training.

SPONSOR SMASH!

SMASH! the Arts is the biggest arts industry event of the year, where the Triangle arts community comes together in one place. They connect, hug, share ideas, and simply kick off their New Year together. Networking at SMASH! helps artists and employees in the arts sector grow and connect both as artists and businesses. SMASH! also allows this hard-working group - many of whom work alone in studios or in small staffed organizations - recognize they are part of something much bigger: a dynamic business sector that positively impacts life in the Triangle.

At SMASH!, attendees connect with others in their discipline or across disciplines, share skills and resources, and sit down for Quick•Connect speed sessions with business and content experts, and wrapped in the trappings of an arts party - food, drink, and fun! Your support of SMASH! gets your name in front of (literally) hundreds of Triangle artists and shows them that you support the work they do. SMASH! sponsorship creates a lasting impression!
