Are you ready to sell your art or craft work but don’t know where to start with pricing?

Are you already selling your work but struggling with making a profit? It's time to get paid for your artwork.

Schedule:

  • April 5, 6:30-8 PM

  • April 12, 6:30-8 PM

This 2 meeting workshop is an introduction to profit-driven pricing principles for creative makers who want to focus on their work, not on spreadsheets and sales charts. Learn what you do and don't need to account for in your pricing. Find out how you can determine profitability and price your work for both retail and wholesale sales. With activities and pricing rubrics created specifically for pricing one-of-a-kind and limited edition work, this course will help you to fairly and profitably price your items. Discussions include sales venues, taking payments, and pricing custom work.

With two meetings over two weeks, you'll learn pricing terms and concepts and work on determining profitable pricing for your actual work. During week 2, participants will have the opportunity to discuss their own work and specific pricing goals with the group.

Taught by Cynthia Deis, Triangle ArtWorks staff member, artist, and REAL Entrepreneurship educator, this course is for early- and mid-career craft and fine artists. This course will be taught on Zoom, participants are encouraged to view the course on a laptop or desktop computer and be prepared to take notes during the presentations.
