Digital Sales and Selling for Artists

Have you ever wanted to sell reproductions of your work online?

Ryan Fox, artist and photographer, is back with one of our most popular workshops. Join him as shares his experience and expertise on ways to sell your work beyond in-person markets and events.  This workshop is for artists who want to sell originals and reproductions in online marketplaces, print on demand sites and stock image companies.

Discussions will include:

  • The pros and cons of various print-on-demand companies and what to look for when choosing one

  • How to compare online marketplaces like Etsy, Amazon Handmade, and others

  • How to properly describe and apply keywords to your images so your artwork will be found by interested buyers.

  • How to funnel traffic to your online shops using social media

In this workshop, Ryan shares his methods in presentation and discussions with participants.  Participant engagement and shared experiences will help to drive the class discussions.  For these reasons, recordings of this event will not be available.

This class is for photographers and artists alike.  However, the class does not cover the details of how to digitize your artwork, but will cover the details of how to sell your work once it is digitized.
