Music

The Music Makers Relief Foundation – The Music Maker Relief Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit, was founded to preserve the musical traditions of the South by directly supporting the musicians who make it, ensuring their voices will not be silenced by poverty and time. Music Maker will give future generations access to their heritage through documentation and performance programs that build knowledge and appreciation of America’s musical traditions. Website.

Triangle Guitar Society – The Triangle Guitar Society is a 501c3 non-profit arts organization inspired by love for the musical arts and dedicated to nurturing an appreciation for the guitar. Website.

Triangle Recorder Society – TRS is a group of recorder players from the Triangle area of North Carolina and a chapter of the American Recorder Society. Meets monthly. Website.

North Carolina Songwriters Co-op -NCSC is dedicated to the support and promotion of songwriters in the state of North Carolina.  The NCSC assists new and established songwriters by providing a supportive environment, including resources for marketing and promotion, the opportunity to network with other songwriters, the chance to assist with and participate in its annual song contest, and to attend seminars and workshops designed to enhance songwriting and performing skills. Website.


DANCE

Dance Resource - The Dance Resource is a dance service organization offering free and low-cost resources, services, and opportunities for the Triangle dance community. Launched in April 2026, The Dance Resource currently hosts a growing directory of local dance companies, academies, non-profits, university programs, and more; promotes local dance and its contributors through a community dance event calendar, exclusive interviews, high-quality social media coverage, and performance write-ups; and connects local dancers, educators, and organizations to opportunities through a weekly dance event email and social media post. The Dance Resource is working towards establishing strategic partnerships with local artists, non-profits, and businesses; hosting dance events and other in-person opportunities; and creating systems of advocacy for the inclusion of dance in local arts conversations.

Theater

North Carolina Theater Conference – “The mission of the North Carolina Theatre Conference is to improve and enhance the environment for quality theatre in North Carolina through service, leadership and advocacy.”  Website.
