PINECONE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES

North Carolina’s music scene is known around the world and is rooted in the traditional musicians who create careers from their fretboards but extends far beyond. Our thriving musical culture has inspired and entertained us for generations. To continue to thrive, our working musicians need to be able to make a living. From performing to promoting to teaching, musicians need support with legal, technical and career issues at all times in their careers. Whether pursuing this work path is full-time or supplemental, North Carolinians working as musicians need to learn the skills needed to maximize their income. 

We worked alongside PineCone - the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, to develop a series of professional development courses and seminars to help musicians across North Carolina and beyond build their skills in a variety of areas. Along with support from Come Hear NC, Triangle ArtWorks created a year-long series to help musicians be the best they can be.
