ArtSwell – Regional Professional Development

Working alongside some of the region’s most influential partners, Triangle ArtWorks is embarking upon a new venture, currently called ArtSwell, which aims to provide ongoing year-round professional development offerings to artists, arts workers, and arts leaders across the Triangle.

Thanks to the generosity and vision of the Mary Duke Biddle Foundation and the collective belief in this idea from our partner organizations, Triangle ArtWorks is pleased to announce the creation of this new program. Together with eight initial partners, including, Durham Arts Council, Office of Raleigh Arts, United Arts of Raleigh/Wake, Town of Cary, Orange County Arts Commission, Chatham Arts Council, Visual Art Exchange and Durham Art Guild, we are now developing this program under the guidance of our newly minted ArtSwell Program Manager, Daniel Wilson, to provide the professional development workshops, classes, seminars, and more that our Triangle-wide arts sector constituents so ardently want and need. You can take a deeper dive into this endeavor by reading our ArtSwell Program Press Release here!
