Space: Thompson Hall: – E Dunn Ave, Raleigh, North Carolina – Includes the Titmus Theater (seats 196) and the Kennedy-McIlwee Studio theatre (Seats 102). Information: Bosendorfer Hall is an intimate, 150 seat performance venue located within Ruggero Piano. It is ideal for solo and chamber music performances, master classes, teacher recitals, fundraisers, senior recitals, business meetings, etc. The hall’s stage has two concert grand pianos, stage lighting, pa system, recording capability and a DLP projector. There is also a small kitchen area with fridge and microwave availabe and a loading dock for deliveries. The hall is available after 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday and some Sundays. There is good parking around the building as well as on street. Cost for recording – $225.00 per hour (student rate is $125.00) Includes tuning of piano. Private events – $350.00 (3 hours including setup) and up depending on time and add-ons. Piano Teacher Recitals (minimum of 12 students ) $100.00. There is a $50.00 fee if bringing in refreshments. Tables, DLP Projector, PA system with mike and stand, and stage lighting available for extra fee.

Information: The entire footprint is 4000 square feet – about 750 of lobby, 750 of dressing room and 2,500 of theatre space. The seating capacity is 238, but 150-175 is more comfortable. The cost of renting the space varies depending on usage. For schools/non-profits, etc. it is $1,500 per week or $300 per day. For all others, it is $1,500 per day.

Venture Hall – Although this is Marbles’ largest space seating up to 320 theatre style, the lighting creates an intimate ambiance for both the performers and the audience.
IMAX Theatre Stage – Perform for 267 of your biggest supporters and make a giant impression at the IMAX Theatre Stage at Marbles Kids Museum. With a built-in stage and fantastic sound system you can take your performance to new heights!
Information: Situated in the heart of downtown Raleigh on Moore Square, Marbles Kids Museum and IMAX Theatre offer spectacular space to mix business with pleasure. Curiosity Square is available on Mondays and evenings after 5pm while the Zanzibar Room and Venture Hall are available daytime or evening. Event rentals are typically scheduled between 6 and 11 pm. Space: Studio Theatre is a black box theatre located below Jones Auditorium. The seating arrangement can vary according to the demands of the production, but averages about 90 seats per show.

Information: You must be a member of the North Carolina Museum of Art in order to host an evening event. A date may be held for five days prior to submission of a rental application and $500 deposit. The fee is nonrefundable but applicable to the final bill. After event approval a contract will be issued. The event will be confirmed with a signed contract and paid nonrefundable deposit of 25% of the contract estimate. All facilities are available after 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted All events must end by 10:30 p.m. Daytime rental is available in the Auditorium and Boardroom. Access to additional art galleries for viewing may be added to event rental spaces for an additional fee upon request. All food and beverage must be provided exclusively by the Museum. Alcohol service is provided through the Museum. Food and beverage are not allowed in galleries. The Museum is a smoke-free facility for indoor and outdoor spaces.
