Triangle ArtWorks strives to provide basic information and links for all traditional performance venues in the Triangle.  We will work to keep our information updated, but obviously you should contact the venue directly for up-to-date information. Town of Cary facilities

Town of Cary residents are given priority on rental of these facilities and they pay a cheaper rental rate, however the facilities are available for rental by the general public.

Herbert C. Young Community Center

Often, the lower gymnasium is converted to an event hall for cultural arts performances or large special events. Other fees may apply depending on the type of rental.

Each additional hour of rental time required beyond the eight hours will incur a fee of $100 per hour.  Rental Hours include set-up and tear-down time required for event.  Rental hours, 8am to 10 pm, amplification only allowed between 10am and 10pm.  Check website for other specific requirements regarding catering, additional fees, etc.

Specifics:  Theatre has curtains, sound and lighting equipment, a proscenium arch and sprung dance floor on stage.   Alcohol allowed with permit and meeting other restrictions.
