ArtWorks Adds Advisory Board!

While we are already blessed with a strong Board of Directors and to develop and guide us and Working Groups to direct and implement our work, now Triangle ArtWorks has an even broader network of support.  We are thrilled to announce the formation of our Advisory Board.  The members of this Board will provide advice and support to the organization.  But more importantly, through their membership on our Advisory Board, they acknowledge their support of the work that ArtWorks is doing in the Triangle Region.

ArtWorks mission is to connect, support and promote the arts and creative industry in the Triangle.  To do that, we need to work with local arts organizations, local business groups and local economic development leaders.  That is why we are thrilled to have broad support from these groups on our Advisory Board.

Our new Advisory Board:

Jennifer Bosser – Asst. Exec. Dir, Wake County Economic Development

Dwight Bassett – Economic Development Officer, Town of Chapel Hill

Gary Beckman –Director of Entrepreneurial Studies in the Arts, NCSU

Cheryl Chamblee – Executive Director, Chatham Arts

Peter Coyle – Senior Economic Development Coordinator, Office of Economic and Workforce development, City of Durham

Gerald Bolas – Executive Director, City of Raleigh Arts Commission

Lyman Collins – Cultural Arts Director, Town of Cary

Margaret Demott – Director of Artist Services – Durham Arts Council

David Diaz – President & CEO, Downtown Raleigh Alliance

Jenny Mizelle – Economic Development Director, Town of Holly Springs

Dianne Reid – President, Chatham County Economic Development Corporation

Naomi Riley – Director, Fuquay-Varina Revitalization Association

Jeff York -Public and Cultural Arts Administrator, Town of Chapel Hill

And we are not done yet.  We will soon be adding some broader business leader support to our Advisory Board. Interested or know someone that is?  Contact us!  Help us build even stronger support for the Triangle arts and creative industry.
