We are thrilled that a great article came out today on New Raleigh.
As NewRaleigh readers know, the Triangle region is a creative place to live and work. A new nonprofit arts organization in the Triangle has been created to provide support and services for artists and create a network to connect the creative community. Triangle ArtWorks will also help broadcast the proven impact of a vibrant creative community to the broader community.
This week, Triangle ArtWorks launched its website, www.triangleartworks.org. The site is a virtual platform to educate and connect the artistic and creative community in the Triangle region, their supporters and the public via discussion forums, articles, blogs, and a clearinghouse for regional resources. ArtWorks is loading more services on the site and needs input from the community about how the site could provide better service to individuals and arts groups.
“There is already an incredibly diverse and vibrant arts and creative community in the Triangle area., as well as lots of hard working and successful arts non-profits.” Yerxa states, “ArtWorks goal is to bring together this community, promote what services and programs already exist to a broader audience and create a “centerpoint” for this community and these groups so that they can find each other easier and begin to explore possibilities to work together.”
Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight at VAE!
